The brakes have all the power of a fraying rubber band.

When you need to brake real fast out on the old highway.
The cars pile up like gutter balls at some dim bowling lane,
After spinning out like some demented weather vane.
Their gas pedals already have recalled a million cars,
By sticking to the floor like they were glued with candy bars.
If you drive a Camry or Corolla I would hope
You have life insurance that is generous in scope.
Detroit cars are all bankrupt and Toyota is unsafe;
Makes a driver feel he is an orphan and a waif.
Next time I go down to check the automotive bourse
I think I'll keep in mind the pleasures of a riding horse.
