Many fabled years ago,

When the world was drifting snow,

A little girl wrote out a note

That even cynics like to quote.

In response the newspaper

Sent a stout reply to her;

"Santa's real, your friends are wrong,"

"The world says nay, but faith is strong."

Had her letter come today,

This is what we'd have to say:

"Our attorney, without cause,"

"cannot imply a Santa Clause."

"So, Virginia, do not cry –"

"He will be tracked by FBI."
