Fwd: timerick

BY ONE WHO KNOWS

The gold in old Peru

The Spanish all withdrew.

The jade so well-adored

That surly dragons hoard.

Ovations by the ton

That actors never shun.

The light of shining grace

That acolytes embrace.

Are merely bric-a-brac

To the insomniac.

The treasure he would reap?

Unmedicated sleep.
