Each and every jobless day
I send out my resume;
emailed to a stranger, I
wonder if it's worth a try.
Maybe if I made it quack
I just might hear something back;
have it sung by Britney Spears
or include the sitcom "Cheers".
Were I trying really hard
I'd include my credit card.
But HR's are so blase,
they'd ignore mine anyway.
Resumes are like the flu:
Shunned and kept well out of view.
