balloons

The world is a bubble philosophers say;

Latex expanding for only a day.

Sculpting the air with a futile design.

Twisting and turning is hardly divine.

Clowns in their colors at parties pretend

atmosphere to their will proudly they bend.

We're all of us jesters, who, like a balloon,

Soon become airless and pale as the moon.
