In the world of work if you're a lowly little temp
You're treated like a cousin of old Larry, Moe & Shemp.
You do not get vacation & no sick leave will accrue;
Any bonus given out will pass right over you.
You're working ev'ry weekend and on holidays as well;
The bottom of the totem pole is where you'll always dwell.
You can hope for permanent employment – oh so pleasant!
The fact is you've become another economic peasant.
